You can do that in your Model only if its not a key property.
There is a check box which you need to check it.
After that re-generate objects and clear the cache and check again.
/IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP
/IWBEP/CACHE_CLEANUP
However i would suggest to debug once and see what is the format.
