Your backend should have software component SAP_GWFND .
Do you have it? Is that the difference between Sandbox and Dev?

Hi,
Yes that is the difference. Solman does not have that. But what is the implications of trying to make an entity subscribable if software component SAP_GWFND is not present?
In your Dev backend do you have IW_BEP?
If your NW is less than 740, then you require IW_BEP.
Hello,
i want to generate a OData Service based on the CRM Genil.
I tried to use the BP Component. In step 3 of generating the OData service I do not get all the objects and relations.
I´m missing the BuilAddress object and the relation between BuilHeader -> BuilAddressRel -> Buil Address.
Can somone very this? Is that only a problem on our system?
Best regards Richard
Hi Saxena,
Could you please tell me the necessity of Step 1 and 2 in the backend. How does the step 2 in backend impact the process. We were implemented gateway servvice without it. And it is working fine. I am just curious to know.
Thank You,
Seshu
Hi Seshaiah,
Nice question . Step 2 creates a system alias entry for Gateway Hub system in the Back-end system in order to show it in Service Registration node in SEGW transaction. If you have not performed the step 2, there will not be any GW Hub entry in the service registration node.
You will still be able to register the service from the GW Hub system using transaction '/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE' and clicking on Add service.
Hope it clarifies your doubt.

Ekansh
After 1 hour I found this post and the solution was the 3 enter to be inserted before --batch-- to make it work. Thanks a lot.
I have recently downloaded the trial version of the SAP Gateway for Microsoft and have been unsuccessful with getting it installed on my workstation. I get the following error immediately after executing the MSI. I am using Visual Studion 2013 on a Win2008R2 workstation. Any idea how to overcome this little set back?
Hi JK,
The question is still present in SAP Gateway community.
I have found more information. In the protocoll it states that BuilAdress was skiped because multiple relations were found. Can i resolve this?
Hi John,

There are a few prerequisites with the new service pack 04 because of our integration with Microsoft Azure. Please make sure that you have the following files installed upfront:
The following Dynamic Link Library files (with the extension .dll) should be present in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) folder for installation:

We have a REST service:
The output of this service is quite large. There seems to be some additional data generated which we don't need and rather don't want to see.
Especially the URI that is repeated every time. Is there an option that does not show this data?
Hello Paul,
By default we cant restrict the way response comes from GW with all those details. Response will be encapsulated that way and we do not have any control in trimming of those from GW Level.

Hello,
I did not perform Step 2 in backend. But still I could acheive the functionality. But I am facing one issue in the case of MOC. I have written the problem in another thread as follows.
http://scn.sap.com/thread/3764262
Does this problem occured due to any step that I missed out?
Thanks for the help.

Hi DIno
that message is telling you that there are disconnections happening from client (likely citrix server) to sap server
There are plenty discussions in scn below an example
10054 : WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer
If you have a basis team, tell them to be in touch with network team to understand whats going on

Hi Andrea,
We already checked this out together with the Network specialist and the Basis Team, we did not find any problem.

Hi Dino
that's odd. Because this is a communication issue, at least the Network specialist should give u advice... Anyway, lets try to dig in the subject, is it happening ONLY from citrix? How did you get this, citrix users are facing issues?
More info pls
