Hi Ray,

Which error your are getting?

If you want to save image in ztable.

create a field with datatype xstring ( XSTRINGVAL ) and pass image.dataURL using Odata.read POST method

before saving into table pass string data from OData to FM SSFC_BASE64_DECODE

Thanks

Suresh

I think it is correct now, but how do I see the pdf document?

Please note, that the backend and Gateway is installed on different systems.

How to pass arguements to CREATE_STREAM?

$

Dear Experts,

I am now passing Files from browser to SAP Gateway via media resources. I am able to receive file content in the following argument.

     ls_doc-content = is_media_resource-value.

I am able to pass value only to this single parameter called "IV_SLUG".But I also want to pass parameters like File name, File type, File size to this method "/IWBEP/IF_MGW_APPL_SRV_RUNTIME~CREATE_STREAM".

Can anyone help how to pass above values from frontend?

You need to use the SLUG option to pass arguments..

You have to pass a header called 'slug' with the parameter in the request , you will receive it in the DPC

Hi, this note is necessary also to create a service importing the datamodel from a rfc?

Hi,

you can open the PDF file by appending host and port name to your url.

http://<host_name>:<port>/sap/public/005056BC3D0C1EE3B6B4492F419E3CAE.PDF

just type this address in your chrome browser which will show you PDF output.

Chandra

I think There is no other option.

SLUG is a free text , you can pass all your parameters in the SLUG using some kind of separator.

In your use case what do you want to pass, which you think is not possible using SLUG ?

Hi Atanu,

Thanks for your suggestion. I will implement it using only one param SLUG.

Hi Ron

Can I do as Chandra is describing, or do I also need to do as you describe?

Lars

User propagation

$

We have the following scenario;

Mobile device <-> SMP <-> NWG <-> ECC

and we are using X.509 based authentication. Currently the X.509 auth is enabled from Mobile device <-> SMP <-> NWG but is terminated at gateway as we use a ABAP connection between NWG and ECC with no trust enabled.

So the question is can we propagate the user id from the certificate till the backend i.e ECC? The idea is that we want the authorization to access the backend data to be authenticated against the user in the certificate.

you need to type the recent output url. and also note that the generated url output will be seen till 60 seconds as set up in FM logic sapui5-display_smartform_pdf/Z_TEST_PDF_DISPLAY at master · CmIm/sapui5-display_smartform_pdf · GitHub

****Set the Cache Timeout - 60 seconds - we only need this in the cache

****long enough to build the page

  lo_cached_response->server_cache_expire_rel( expires_rel = 60 ).

as per your requirement you can change this value.

Now once you execute the odata service, you will get unique url and then just append the host name and open it in the browser.

Chandra
